A 12-inch (30.5cm.) diameter terrestrial table globe, made up of twelve chromolithographed paper gores and two polar calottes, the equatorial graduated in degrees, the ecliptic graduated in degrees and showing the symbols of the houses of the zodiac, also showing Principal Shipping Routes with distances in Nautical Miles Principal Transcontinental Railroads Principal Air Mail Routes and ANALEMMA showing the Declination of the Sun ... and the Equation of Time (some light surface rubbing, no loss of image), with metal half meridian ring divided into two quadrants, mounted on a turned wooden pillar and plinth base -- 16¼in. A 12-inch (30.5cm.) celestial table globe, made up of twelve chromolithographed gores and two polar calottes, the equatorial graduated I - XXIV and showing the ecliptic, constellations and stars to the fifth order of magnitude, the stars and labels in white on a dark blue ground (a few chips, recoloured), with brass half meridian ring divided into two quadrants, mounted on a turned ebonised wooden pillar and plinth base 16¼in. (41cm.) high overall
