A pair of massive Minton majolica dark blue ground jardinières
in the form of Chinese censers, each with a rounded body and ring handles above lappets, moulded with a broad band of scrolling lotus flowers and leaves within borders of stiff leaves, key fret and scrolling foliage, the everted rim moulded with ruyi heads, supported by four paw and mask feet, shape 1798, year cyphers for 1877 (one with damage and repair to one foot, star crack to side and minor damages) -- 49cm. high
