A well engineered early 20th-Century small full size single cylinder horizontal mill engine,
with brass bound mahogany lagged cylinder 2in. bore x 3 1/8in. stroke, inlet manifold with displacement lubricator, main stop valve and rope driven horizontally mounted governor and valve, valve chest and cylinder head draincocks, studded stuffing boxes, piston rod lubricator, pedestal mounted bar type crosshead guides, barrelled connecting and eccentric rods, crankshaft mounted in split brasses in trunnions with oil pots, spoked flywheel and belt pulley, finished in green, black and brown and polished brightwork, brass bed and wood plinth -- 13 5/8 x 26in. (34.5 x 66cm.)
