An exhibition standard 5-inch gauge model of the GWR Atlantic 4-4-2 locomotive No. 40 'North Star',
built by D.G. Sutcliffe, with brazed superheated copper boiler with water gauge with gauge glass protector and shut-off cock, pressure gauge, safety blower, steam brake, twin injector, clack and blowdown valves, chassis details include twin outside and twin inside cylinders with valves controlled through scissors valve gear and rocking levers, finely fluted connecting rods, mechanical lubricator, cab controlled draincocks, working leaf springs, two injectors, two-tone whistle, riveting, fine cab and backhead fittings, cab controlled dampers, wooden cab floor, and much other fine detailing, tender details include working leaf springs, water cocks, hand operated brake gear, tool boxes with padlocks, lifting rings, water level gauge, steps hand and lamp irons and other details, finished in finely lined GWR livery -- 14 x 68in. (35.5 x 172.7cm.)
