Converted from flintlock, with sighted barrels (lightly pitted) signed in the sighting groove, engraved grooved tangs, signed flat bevelled locks each with safety-catch and engraved stepped tail, figured walnut full stocks (one fore-stock repaired), chequered butts, engraved silver mounts including trigger-guards each with pineapple finial (one silver ramrod-pipe replaced), silver escutcheons and pommels engraved respectively with owner's crest and initials 'JCR', and stirrup ramrods
