A pair of famille rose tapering cylindrical jardinieres and stands
each painted to the exterior with a scene depicting a boy feeding a cockerel, hen and chicks in a garden of rockwork and peonies, the reverse with lines of calligraphy, the stands with interlacing ruyi heads -- the stands 9in. (23cm.) diam, (star crack to base of one stand, other broken and restuck, one jardiniere cracked).
