Maker's mark of Manual Azcona, Córdoba, circa 1770, assay-master's mark of Bartolomé de Gálvez y Aranda, the handle probably English, early 19th century
Shell-shaped with notch and moulded reeded border, with later reeded swing handle, the bowl chased with flutes and with masks, scrolls and foliage, the notch flanked by two shells and foliage, engraved with later English crest and Baron's coronet, marked on body
