Oval box, the cover and base with panels of burnished gold centred with oval reserves of sablé chased in four-colour gold with flowersprays, framed by frosted bands chased and engraved with stripes of reeding interlaced with stylized foliage, the sides with diagonal flutes on a frosted ground, the upper border with an egg and acanthus frieze and the lower border with a ribbon-twist band
