Of rectangular outline with rounded corners, the agate cover set with a stylised owl of rose-cut diamonds and onyx, the rose-cut diamond clasp and hinges opening to reveal two compartments, one for powder and the other for rouge, with diamond surmount enhanced by onyx terminals, with the original black woven handle, circa 1925, 8.6 x 4.8 x 1.7 cm., with French assay marks
