An English ormolu, ruby-red and clear glass fifteen-light chandelier
Second half 19th Century
Decorated overall with foliate and fruit ormolu, a cut-glass crown supporting the circular frame suspended with four twin-element glass stretchers, with a trumpet-shaped ruby-red vase to the centre, the circular rim issuing five sets of scrolled triple-branches, each with a foliate-cast nozzle and drip-pan, above a faceted ruby-red dish with knop terminal, fitted for electricity
