FIRST EDITION IN GERMAN of this account of the various embassies sent by the Dutch East India Company to Japan, together with an account of the people, their customs and the country. An edition in Dutch was published in the same year and an English translation by John Ogilby in the following year in London. Cordier Japonica 384; Lipperheide Lf2.
