Chevron-banded to the top and front, the moulded rectangular quarter-veneered top above a later green baize-lined slide, two small drawers and three long graduated drawers, on later shaped bracket feet, inscribed in ink to one drawer lining 'Almira Braithwaite bought at Miss Tyson's (?) Ambleside May 28 - 1927', with sycamore and pine drawer linings, restorations
