The single-edged watered steel blade tapering to a fine point, the upper flat spine damascened with a band of gold floral meander, a similar damascened panel by the hilt, the white jade pistol grip hilt inset with various small coloured stones and gold forming vertical bands of floral sprays divided by smaller similar motifs, the red velvet-covered wooden sheath with steel mounts above and below decorated with gold damascened floral designs, gold on hilt rubbed and abraded, a few stones missing
