The recurved tapering double-edged watered steel blade with gold damascened cusped panels containing a fine floral lattice above on each side, the pistol-grip green jade hilt carved with feathery leaves below issuing a tall feathery plant, a similarly carved rosette with folded petals in the centre of the upper terminal, cypress trees along the spine, three inset small stones on each side, the russet velvet-covered wooden sheath with pierced gilt-copper mounts with arabesque borders above and below, bird's head lower terminal with inset turquoise eye, gilding rubbed on sheath
