SELJUK 12TH CENTURY, AND TIMURID 15TH CENTURY
The Timurid ring made for a child, the cast ridged shank widening around the shoulders and engraved with stellar flowerheads, the shoulders with wider panels of similar trefoil motifs, the sides of the bezel holding the cabochon tourmaline similarly engraved, the underside of the bezel with a similar lozenge panel, the Seljuk ring of typical form inset with a turquoise, the surfaces engraved with scrolling designs around applied panels, worn, some applied panels missing
