An Italian carved walnut jardiniere
Circa 1875
Surmounted by a semi-nude winged female figure, above a small tier with foliate-carved overhanging edge, with a waisted egg-and-dart carved bowl, on a fluted and acanthus-carved baluster support with a larger bowl below, the frieze carved with vines and with four Bacchic masks, on a tapering fluted column, with four adorsed dolphin supports, on a shaped plinth with stepped base, each tier with two zinc liners
