Depicting a stag being captured by five hounds, on an oval naturalistically-moulded base, on a giltwood base with foliate-carved edge and fluted sides hung with foliate-carved swags, on a carved oak stand, with fluted spreading top and frieze centred to each side by a foliate-carved motif, on tapering acanthus-carved bracket supports, on an oval platform base
The group: 27 in. (68.5 cm.) wide; 16 in. (40.5 cm.) high; 20 in. (50.8 cm.) deep
The plinth and stand: 38¼ in. (97 cm.) high (2)
