A SMALL PURPLE-SPLASHED JUNYAO BOWL, AND A JUNYAO-TYPE SAUCER-DISH

The rounded sides of the bowl covered with a thick unctuous lavender blue glaze with purple-mauve splashes to the interior and exterior thinning at the rim and pooling around the unglazed foot, some kiln adhesion to glazed base, around the foot and to interior; the shallow dish with slightly recessed base and gently outward flaring sides, covered with a mottled violet and pale blue glaze, the foot and base unglazed, some crackling and minor associated frits to the centre and chip to rim restored
