The rectangular removable red leather-lined top with chessboard to the reverse, enclosing an ivory-inlaid ebony backgammon board surrounded with ivory scoring holes, the panelled frieze centred by C-scroll foliate mount, on chandelle-headed fluted turned tapering legs and chandelles on toupie feet, reconstructed, probably from a larger tric-trac table, restorations and remounted, one leg partially replaced, possibly indistinctly stamped
