The blade hirazukuri, iorimune with slight sakizori, forging pattern itame, tempered edge notare with togariba of nioi and nie, komaru-boshi, tang ubu with two holes, 11.3/8in. (29cm.); encased in a rubbed same saya on the upper part and wood on the lower part, shakudo nanako fittings comprising a fuchi-kashira decorated with a dragon with ken in takazogan and gilt, the fuchi signed Hidemoto and kao, the kozuka decorated with a dragon in takaniku-bori and gilt, a shakudo migakiji tsuba decorated with a dragon in takaniku-bori and gilt, shakudo menuki of millet, old minor wear
