The blade honzukuri, iorimune, chugissaki with torii zori, forging pattern ayasugi, tempered edge gunome with ko-muare of nioi, tobiyaki, kaen-boshi, squared tang suriage with two holes, 26¾in. (68cm.); in an ishimeji black lacquer saya with kuyo mon in roiro, shakudo nanako tachi gilt mounts decorated with go-san no kiri mon, the aoi-gata tsuba and fuchi signed Takushoku Yoshikatsu and kao, three paulownia crest gilt menuki, slight wear
