Showing the full extent of the city, the surrounding hills and the coast as far as Pozzuoli, inset key in six columns along lower margin, compass rose, numerous galleons decorating the sea. (Trimmed to plate mark, loss lower right corner neatly repaired, just affecting a few letters of the key, one fold strengthened on verso, some discolouration along joins.)
A fine dark impression of a contemporary copy of Miotte's engraved plan of Naples (see lot 1056). Not in Pane and Valerio. Watermark fleur-de-lys in a circle surmounted by a crown.
