A Silesian engraved sweetmeat glass and cover
the ogee bowl cut and polished with a band of arches alternately engraved with foliate scroll panels of putti, a reclining female nude, perhaps Venus and a seated female nude representing 'Plenty', above fluted and faceted lower section, on faceted inverted baluster stem, the foot cut and polished to the underside with a band of ovals and engraved with a scolling foliate border, the cover with a bud finial above flutes and arched border, circa 1730 (minute rim chips) -- 21cm. high
