The yellow mohair was also used in the Steiff 'Teddy Clown' range, produced in 1926. This bear bear has been dressed in a modern clown ruff and hat.

A yellow Steiff teddy bear
with brown and black glass eyes, pronounced clipped snout, beige stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed shaped limbs, yellow felt pads and button in ear with remains of red label --12in. (30.5cm.) tall, circa 1926 (small wear to face, tummy, outer arms, tips of paws and feet, slight fading in colour)
