(17.5cm.) square brass dial with silvered Turkish chapter ring, the matted centre with ringed winding holes, decorated calendar aperture, the false pendulum aperture signed on its silvered backplate John Martin London, later blued steel hands, later spandrels, strike/silent lever above 12, the twin gut fusee movement with five ringed pillars, re-built knife-edge verge escapement with later Webster style back-cock, pull quarter repeat on six bells via six hammers with strike on further bell, the backplate engraved with flowers and scrolling foliage within a leafy border, the central cartouche signed John Martin Londini fecit
