A LARGE CAMPANIAN RED-FIGURE POTTERY SKYPHOS
Side A: a running draped maenad looking back, holding a flaming torch and cista, plants in the field
Side B: a running naked youth holding a torch and himation folded over his arm, wearing a wreath, a fillet and dotted rosettes in the field, a window above
Palmettes and volute plants under the handles, meander and crossed-square frieze below, wave pattern above, details in added white and yellow, one handle repaired -- 8½ in. (21.5 cm.) high, circa 4th Century B.C.
