Of rectanguar form with rounded corners decorated in gold, silver and red hiramaki-e, kirigane and kimpun on a roiro ground, with Nikko Shrine on the lid and waterfalls in the environs of Nikko on the sides of the box, the interior nashiji; fitted with an inner tray decorated in silver and gold takamaki-e and togidashi on a kinji ground with a sleeping cat, peonies and a pavilion surrounded by clouds
