Lot Essay

Baldi became interested in Futurism when he met Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, the founder of Futurism in 1930. He is credited with creating some of the earliest Futurist photomontages and photograms, a result of his interest in the work of other avant-garde photographers of the time.
