Jiajing Six-Character Mark in Underglaze Blue within a Double Circle and of the Period
The heavily potted baluster body decorated with a dense allover pattern of scrolling, leafy vine bearing shou-character medallions set atop lotus blossoms, with a band of conjoined ruyi heads below and a narrow foliate band encircling the neck above, the nianhao forming a slightly recessed medallion in the center of the otherwise unglazed base
