The porcelain circa 1718, gilt slightly later at Augsburg by Bartolomeus Seuter, the mounts by Elias Adam and impressed with his maker's mark
The pear shaped body moulded with gadrooned sections, the cover with similar ornament, applied with a scroll handle, gilt with an Oriental family around a table in a garden, others preparing tea, the moulded sections gilt with alternating bands, scrolls and dots, the hinged mounts cast and engraved with leaf-tip bands, the thumbpiece formed as a shell and scrolls
