The slightly tapering hood with dentil cornices and glazed side panels, with carved dial frame, square top trunk door, the tapering plinth centred by a swag moulding and with stepped base, the white-painted iron convex dial decorated with a floral bouquet and with later painted date 1863, with brass crescent moon hands, the twin train movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell; case later painted
