Persian manuscript on thin paper, 324ff., 25ll. of very small black nasta'liq in four columns, gold divisions and margins, blue outer rule, headings in red across two columns, gold ruled outer margin, red and black marginal notes, the start of each of the six sections with gold and coloured illuminated heading, gold clouds between the text and gold floral scrolls in the margin, illuminated shamsa on verso, opening folio with gold and coloured illuminated margins, (misbound and possibly incomplete, trimmed, some smudging, small damages and repairs), red morocco binding with gold painted decoration, Safavid Persia, 17th century - 17.8 x 11.5cm.
