Persian manuscript on paper, 23ll. of elegant black nasta'liq in four columns, gold divisions and margins, blue outer rule, occasional marginal notes, headings in gold on panels of scrolling vine, illuminated floral panels within text, Persia, dated AH 940/1533-4 AD, (trimmed, folios coming loose, incomplete at start and probably within text, some spotting and foxing, a few folios remargined, occasional small damages and repairs), brown morocco binding with gold border (stained, damage to corners) - 27 x 17cm.
