HEBREW MANUSCRIPT - Chiddushim al Masekhet Gittin (halakhic novellae on the talmudic tractate Gittin and other novellae and notes by Dr. Hermann Adler (1839-1911), Chief Rabbi of the United Hebrew Congregations of the British Empire). [last decades of the 19th century]. 96 leaves, different inks on very brittle paper, 195 x 130 mm., many leaves detached and frayed with loss of some text, the majority written in a cursive Ashkenazic Hebrew hand, some parts in English, later boards, defective -- HEBREW MANUSCRIPT - Abraham Menahem Halevi Warschavsky, Sefer Rishfei Esh (highly polemical work against the trangressions of the rabbis). Hull, 1936. [6] + 328 pages, black and some red ink on pre-ruled paper, 230 x 185 mm., some minor dampstains, apparently unpublished, clear cursive Ashkenazic hand, modern leather -- HEBREW MANUSCRIPT - Masekhet Pega'im...mi-Talmud Anglia (Hebrew social parody, in the style of a Talmudic tractate). Hull, 1936. 3 + 22 written leaves, black ink on paper, 250 x 180 mm., interleaved with protective foil, good condition, in square and cursive hands, modern leather -- HEBREW MANUSCRIPT - Kirschbaum, Jacob. Sefer Kol Ya'akov (On ritual slaughtering according to the customs of London). Author's autograph copy.
