Circular box with independent cover, all over enamelled with vertical white bands decorated with gold and green paillons simulating leaves alternating with plain blue stripes divided by gold paillons, bordered by a white enamel band, the cover inset with an enamel miniature depicting a seated Field Marshal invited by a young Lady, by a military campment background, framed by a half-pearl border
