Oval boîte pleine, the cover, sides and base decorated with panels of wavy engine-turning forming a scalework pattern, the side pilasters chased with a vertical band of raised beads flanked by stylized Doric columns, the borders framed by laurel and berry bands alternating with flowerheads chased in two-colour gold on a matted ground
