Rectangular box with rounded corners and inverted baluster sides, the cover centred with a glazed oval portrait miniature of a girl in white dress, wearing gold necklaces, flanked by cast cornucopiae, scrolling foliage, scrolls and shells at the corners against a sablé ground, the sides and base engraved with scrolling foliage surrounding guilloche panels
