Of Adam design, the soft light-brown field with floral swags around a similar rectangular panel, bordered by a blackcurrant-red oakleaf band containing a wreath in each corner flanking a similar fanlight roundel, in an ivory border of scrolling acanthus panels, laurel wreath and rosette panels in each corner, outer brown border of ribbon-tied polychrome floral sprays between moulded laurel leaf and spiralling ribbon stripes, plain outer pink stripe, excellent pile, wefting weak and occasionally splitting, backed
