with golden mohair, orange and black glass eyes, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose and mouth, swivel head, jointed limbs with suedette pads and keywind musical mechanism in back, in original plain card box with remains of label for 'Blue Ribbon Playthings' --18in. (46cm.) high, 1950s (some damage to box)

Be-Be Limited from Kettering, Northamptonshire were manufacturers of dolls, teddy bears and puppets. The company was founded circa 1941. The Blue Ribbon Playthings range was available in the 1950s and the company was still in existence in 1976.
