A Buen Retiro white biscuit group
Circa 1785, incised fleur de lys mark
Modelled with three putti about an ivy-clad obelisk, one standing and holding up a crown of laurels, another seated at his feet holding a sword in his left hand, his other hand resting on a plumed helmet, a broken mossy fluted column behind him, another wearing a lion's pelt and spearing a dragon, on an elaborate high pierced rockwork base applied with shells, flowers and foliage (chip to seated putto's left foot, spear and dragon's right foot lacking, chipping to ivy, laurels, flowers and foliage)
