A CHINESE EXPORT BLACK AND GOLD LACQUER BOX
Late 19th 20th Century
Decorated with a courtly procession with figures carrying banners and lanterns, a gate and garden with a Courtly mother and her child beyond, in a repeating foliate border, the sides decorated with crabs, bamboo and other foliage, the hinged top enclosing a plain red-japanned interior, signed to the underside with Chinese character mark 'ZUOSONG'
