The configuration hira-zukuri with iori-mune back and slight saki-zori curvature, bo-hi carved on both sides; forging pattern ko-itame with gunome tempered edge and small, rounded tip with a medium long turnback; tang shortened with horizontal file marks and one mekugi-ana; in wood storage scabbard
