The dial with Arabic chapters inscribed Bausse and A.PARIS, surmounted by a scantily draped goddess holding two chains with eagles at either side, the lower section hung with drapery, on spreading oval plinths with stiff-leaf border and floral swags, above an inverted breakfront base with arched ends with central panel of scrolling foliage flanked by two medallions with figure heads, on spreading circular feet, the pendulum with an espagnolette mask, the central mount on base later

Bausse is recorded in Boulevard Cerrutti in 1804 and then in various locations before being last recorded in the Rue Richelieu in 1820
