A DOCCIA ARMORIAL PLATE FROM THE MARCHESI MARANA SERVICE
Circa 1755
The central accollée arms of Marana and Isola surrounded by purple scrolls and a wreath of coloured garden flowers beneath a gilt coronet, the shaped reeded border with pendant iron-red scrolls forming ru-yi lappets flanked by pendant foliage and iron-red diaper panels, the underside with trailing purple flowers (slight rim chip, some minor rubbing to enamels and gilding)
