QIANLONG SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD
The pear-shaped vase moulded on the lower body with sixteen lobes and well painted in brilliant blue tones with a composite floral meander comprising stylised blossoms borne on curling tendrils, above sixteen upright lappets encircling the base, the elongated neck decorated with a wave band and set with a pair of tubular handles, the mouth rim with bands of key-fret pattern and pendent ruyi-lappets, all raised on a gently splayed foot bordered with classic scrolls (rim frit)
