With double-edged fullered blade, grooved rectangular ricasso, iron guard of bars of octagonal section comprising small side-ring interrupted by a spherical moulding, and short quillons each with spherical terminal, spirally grooved wire-bound grip with Turk's heads, and globular pommel, the pommel, quillon-terminals and side-ring moulding each chiselled in low relief with gold-damascened crosses and foliage, the bars of the quillons and side-ring each with fine Zuloaga-influenced gold-damascened scrollwork
