With swamped octagonal tip-up smoothbore barrel signed 'RIEGER IN MÜNCHEN' in gold and decorated with gold-inlaid stars and lines, and gold- and silver-inlaid arrows, elevation adjustable standing rear-sight retaining some original blued finish, finely figured walnut full stock with raised cheek-piece and chequered grip and fore-end, the air reservoir housed within the butt (upper seam swelled), pierced and scrolled nickel-silver mounts throughout including upper-tang with mounting-block for an aperture rear-sight (sight missing), and escutcheon around the crank-stud, double set triggers, blued barrel-release with blued pivoting pierced locking-catch beneath the breech, nickel-silver pistolgrip trigger-guard, and horn-capped wooden ramrod
