Margaine, No.15125. Circa 1880
The oval case engraved with running foliate scrolls, with bowed enamel side panels depicting stylised birds, with conforming mask to a recessed white enamel Roman and Arabic chapter disc, blued steel hands, the single barrel movement with silvered platform to lever escapement with cut bimetallic balance, the back plate with punched stamp for Margaine and numbered 5125, the case with repeat number to underside
