The corniche case with presentation inscription to the front dated 1897, white enamel Roman and Arabic dial with subsidiary alarm ring, signed LE ROY & FILS/57 NEW BOND STREET/MADE IN FRANCE/PALAIS-ROYAL/PARIS, blued steel hands, the eight day twin barrel movement with silvered platform to cut bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat/alarm on gong, the underside with Le Roy patent wind -- 5in. (14.3cm.) high to hilt of handle; with brown leather travel case (2)
