The case with brass pineapple finial to bell top, with brass handles to the sides above delicate foliate pierced mahogany sound frets, with conforming frets to the front and rear doors, on moulded squab feet, the brass dial with foliate spandrels to the silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, with finely pierced blued steel hands, the matted centre with date aperture and recessed silvered plaque signed Geo. Graham London, central silvered alarm-set disc, subsidiary strike/silent ring to the arch, the six pillar triple wire fusee movement with pivoted verge escapement with sprung steel pallets, quarter-striking on eight bells and with hour strike and pull-wound alarm on further bell, the back plate engraved with leafy scrolls and flowerheads and with pendulum holdfast, similarly engraved movement securing brackets to the case.
